“Lots of parking with a lovely team at reception. Currently having construction underway but no doubt it is worth it as the family room we stayed in was gorgeous! Pools were in great condition. We will definitely come stay again.”

“Arrival & Atmosphere We arrived around 3 PM and check-in was smooth - there was one staff member at the front desk who was expecting us. However, the resort felt unusually quiet, almost empty. “Wish we had read the reviews. We probably wouldn't have booked. Definitely not value for money. No real amenities, not even a bar of soap in our ensuite room. No tv, pretty much a bed and towels. Water was lukewarm in shower and we were worried it was going to flood until hubby used his foot as a plunger for drain . Pub music only played till 11pm thank goodness.”

“This property is on a real working farm in New Zealand, with happy contented cows watching you come and go. We were treated to in-house preserves of jam, and a lovely welcome. It was especially helpful that this accommodation was a short drive from the Hobbotin movie set, which we had visited earlier that day. So we reached our destination on the winding country road before it got dark; very convenient. We were 2 adults but would definitely recommend this spacious accommodation for families.”

“Pros: Lovely property; we really enjoyed the stay.Cons:Water pressure in the shower was poor. Security concern: on the morning of check out we found an empty bottle beer on the steps are the rear. This was not there the day before. We were concerned if there had been a prowler during the night.”

“Beautiful and peaceful, with total privacy. This cottage had everything we needed, with the added bonus of farm animal visitors on misty mornings. Easy travel to local highlights, close to town but far enough away to feel like a hidden sanctuary. Loved it”
