“All 5 of us were very comfortable in our booked accommodation”

“Wish we had read the reviews. We probably wouldn't have booked. Definitely not value for money. No real amenities, not even a bar of soap in our ensuite room. No tv, pretty much a bed and towels. Water was lukewarm in shower and we were worried it was going to flood until hubby used his foot as a plunger for drain . Pub music only played till 11pm thank goodness.”

“The room is clean, the motel is on the side of road and it is easy to find out. The staff is very friendly and helpful”

“The owners were very nice. The suite was very comfortable. A small continental breakfast was included and there were other amenities available. The location was fantastic. Only 15 minutes max from Hobbiton, which was the main reason we stayed in the area. View was beautiful.”

“Our room was clean and well appointed. It was an adequate size with a separate bathroom. The place is a little dated but clean and comfortable. The bed was a generous size and was comfortable. “Clean , warm, convenient.”

“Abbiamo scelto l'hotel per la vista, peccato che ci abbiano dato un appartamento separato dal resto dell'edificio, senza alcuna vista. Peccato. Il bagno era al pian terreno senza riscaldamento. Da gelare.”

“The location and property were lovely! Everything we needed to cook or wash our clothes was available and in good condition. Communication with the host was quick and easy. Definitely thinking about an excuse to stay here again!”

“This home was a wonderful place to stay for our family of five as we explored the north Island. We used it as our homebase for three nights while we explored Rotorua and Hobbiton. The house were extremely kind and gracious, and they even had a fire going for us when we got to the house two of our three nights that we were there. They were extremely kind, and the house was wonderful. Very peaceful. Would highly recommend anyone staying in this area to stay here – you won’t regret it!”

“Host was very helpful regarding my questions and request for additional day stay”
